Product architecture, complete backend development, substantial frontend work, search, imports, administration, and multiple product iterations.
The platform
FactoryZone was created because manufacturers often struggle to discover and contact one another directly on marketplaces designed primarily around immediate purchasing. The platform gives factories of different sizes and industries an international presence where their capabilities and products can be explored without placing a retail transaction ahead of the business relationship.
Custom content and operations system
The central workflow is a flexible spreadsheet importer. A factory can upload its complete product catalogue, identify only the product-title and main-image columns, and let the system interpret the remaining fields into a custom, metadata-driven database structure. Different catalogues can introduce their own product attributes without being forced into one rigid schema, reducing the work required to publish large and inconsistent inventories while preserving source-specific information.
Shared application and search architecture
FactoryZone and BulkLive run on a shared Laravel application architecture created by us. A custom application-level Hypervisor resolves site-specific configuration, modules, environment values, database context, and operational behavior, allowing both products to share core backend capabilities while remaining independently configurable. FactoryZone combines this foundation with a Next.js and React frontend, MySQL, Elasticsearch, multilingual content, and dedicated administration. Search works across metadata fields that are not fixed in advance, and future development can enrich these fields with AI-assisted annotations to improve product discovery further.
From catalogue to searchable product
The importer starts with the factory's existing catalogue. After two essential columns are identified, the remaining information is structured as flexible metadata and prepared for product discovery.
